Another Year has passed… Many changes have taken place in Mill Pond in the last year.  Autumn Ridge was finished and most of the units have been purchased.  The Oaks have begun to take shape and are looking great.  We have a new pavilion and swing-set in the common area beside The Oaks for everyone to use.  Deer Park is taking shape and we will soon see the new home construction begin.  Street lights were added to Mill Pond Xing and new signs have been placed throughout the community.  The community is growing up and looking great.  What a great place to live.

The signs have all changed around the pond and if you haven’t visited lately… you should check out Mill Pond’s new Web Site; http://www.millpond.net. When you get there, scroll down to the bottom and click on the “Homeowner’s Info.”  We are going to use the internet site to publish the Newsletter each month, as well as any announcements and our meeting minutes. If you would like an email reminder sent to you when the newsletter is published, please send your request to Deanna at dlbishop@millpond.net. If you do not have access to the internet and need to continue receiving paper copies of the newsletter, please call Deanna at (770) 214-0270.

 

The Committees are formed…      Now we just need volunteers to make them function. The Grounds Committee will be responsible for monitoring the amenities, common areas, homes and yards for needed repairs and general maintenance. This committee will need two (2) volunteers from each neighborhood. Gail Standifer has already volunteered from The Meadows,  Several volunteers are needed for the Hospitality Committee which will welcome new residents and plan for special events such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Summer Picnic, Breakfast with Santa, Halloween Party, and the Fall Pot Luck.  The Architectural Committee remains as is.
