Text Box: Volunteers are needed…
We have door hanger bags and would like to have some help getting the committee information into the bags and onto the doors. The Homeowners’ Association will be meeting to discuss the committee titles and duties in late November.
Pumpkin Pickin’…
Remember when you are pumpkin hunting to pick one with a long stem. The longer the stem, the longer your pumpkin will stay fresh. Always use caution when using a lit candle in your carved pumpkin. I found the best and safest substitution was an electric pumpkin light. You can find them at Wal-Text Box: mart for about $2 each. Find ones that take batteries and have several light bulbs that flash to resemble a candle flicker.
Pumpkin Carving…
There are some really inexpensive carving kits available many even include patterns. With these new kits, making impressive designs is really easier that you would think. Give it a try, if it doesn’t look as well as you would have liked… try a simple one.
Have fun… be safe.
